Current setting
Necessary storage is always available. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel, and campaign-attribution storage load only after you choose Accept optional.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, scripts, and device identifiers. They can remember a preference, keep a service secure, measure website use, or attribute a visit to a campaign.
This policy covers the public website at thefaithapp.com. Authenticated administration and mobile products also use storage that is necessary for login, security, selected product settings, and requested features. The Privacy Policy explains the related personal-data processing.
2. Your choices
On a first visit, optional technologies are off. You can accept or reject them with clear one-click controls. Your choice is remembered for up to 180 days, after which we ask again. “Cookie settings” in every page footer reopens the choice at any time.
If you withdraw acceptance, we signal the change to configured providers, remove known first-party analytics cookies and campaign-attribution storage, and reload the page to stop optional scripts. A provider may retain data already collected under the earlier consent in line with its retention policy and applicable law.
3. Necessary website storage
| Name | Type and purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
thefaithapp_cookie_consent |
First-party local storage. Remembers whether optional measurement was accepted or rejected so the website can honour the choice. | Up to 180 days |
This preference is necessary to remember and apply the privacy choice. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current page and may need to be made again.
4. Optional analytics and advertising measurement
These tools load only after acceptance and only when configured for the website deployment.
| Provider or storage | Purpose | Typical identifiers and duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Measures visits, pages, devices, sessions, and website interactions so we can improve content and performance. | _ga and _ga_<id>, up to 2 years |
| Microsoft Clarity | Provides aggregated interaction insights, heatmaps, and session diagnostics to help identify usability problems. | _clck, up to 1 year; _clsk, up to 1 day; Microsoft-domain cookies may range from a session to 1 year |
| Meta Pixel | Measures visits and campaign results and can help limit or improve advertising on Meta services. | _fbp, up to 3 months; Meta may use its own identifiers under its policy |
thefaithapp_utm |
First-party local storage. Remembers UTM campaign values and click identifiers so signup links can preserve the visit source. | Up to 90 days |
The providers may receive the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, interaction data, and their identifiers. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy, Microsoft’s Privacy Statement, and Meta’s Privacy Policy.
5. Embedded YouTube video
Demo videos do not load a YouTube player automatically. A placeholder is shown first. If you choose to play a video, the website loads YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player from youtube-nocookie.com. Google then receives connection and device information and may use cookies or similar storage when you interact with the player. You can instead follow the ordinary YouTube link in a new tab.
6. Links and third-party services
Following a link to Calendly, YouTube, documentation, an app store, a church page, or another website takes you to that provider. Its own cookie and privacy choices apply. Connected services inside the authenticated product are also governed by the customer’s configuration and the provider’s notices.
7. Browser and device controls
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent the website from remembering a choice; blocking authenticated-product storage can affect login or requested features. Browser “do not track” signals are not implemented consistently across the industry, but optional tools on this website remain off until affirmative acceptance.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this page when tools, purposes, durations, or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision. A material change to optional processing may require a new choice.
