Request TheFaithApp account and data deletion
How to request TheFaithApp account and associated-data deletion, submit a reviewed profile-erasure request, and understand church-controlled records.
You can request deletion of your TheFaithApp account and associated personal data by emailing support@thefaithapp.com. You can use this route if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in. TheFaithApp is provided by THEFAITH LTD.
Request account and data deletion by email
- Email support@thefaithapp.com with the subject TheFaithApp account and data deletion request.
- Include the email address you use for TheFaithApp and say that you want to request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- If helpful, include your church or organisation name so the request can reach the right team. This is optional.
Keep your message focused on the request. Do not send your password, payment-card details, or copies of private prayer or care conversations. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Use the app’s reviewed profile-erasure request
In the member app, open your profile and select Privacy and data requests. On My data requests, choose New request, set Request type to Erasure, add a brief explanation in Reason and context, then select Submit for review.
This sends a profile-data erasure request for human review. Submitting it does not immediately delete records. For an account and associated-data deletion request across TheFaithApp, use the email route above and describe the scope you need reviewed.
Church-controlled records
Your church normally controls the ministry records it manages, including member, donor, attendance, pastoral-care and giving records. Contact the church first about these records. You can also email TheFaithApp, and we will help route the request where the church must decide it. Leaving a church and requesting erasure are separate choices in the app.
Records that may need to be retained
Deletion requests are considered alongside applicable duties and the church’s instructions. Account, contract, invoice, transaction and audit records may remain where legal or financial obligations require them. Support and security records may be kept proportionately; protected backup copies expire through the backup cycle unless legal preservation is required. Some sensitive workflows have shorter rules. Records retained for financial, safeguarding or legal duties are explained in the reviewed decision.
Read the Privacy Policy for our data roles, retention approach and rights. To start your request, email support@thefaithapp.com.
